Nuestra pequeña eco-finca La Tanquilla está situada en el suroeste de Tenerife a 750 m sobre el nivel del mar. N. en el pequeño pueblo de montaña de Aripe, cerca de Guía de Isora. Aquí no se nota mucho el turismo de masas. Puede comenzar a caminar directamente desde la casa por varias rutas de senderismo.
Nuestra finca ecológica La Tanquilla se encuentra en el suroeste de Tenerife, a 750 metros sobre el nivel del mar, en el pequeño pueblo de montaña de Aripe, cerca de Guía de Isora. El turismo de masas es poco común aquí. Varias rutas de senderismo parten directamente de la casa.
Nuestra finca, construida y diseñada con cariño por los antiguos propietarios al estilo tradicional canario, con muchos pequeños detalles, rezuma belleza, paz y tranquilidad. Es el lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones relajantes en plena naturaleza. Por la noche, no se oye nada, salvo algún perro ocasional, y también es muy tranquila durante el día.
Somos respetuosos con el medio ambiente. El agua se calienta con paneles solares durante los meses de verano. La mayor parte de las aguas residuales se utilizan para regar los árboles frutales. Por lo tanto, solo utilizamos jabones, detergentes y lavavajillas ecológicos. Tenemos un pequeño huerto de frutas y verduras de gestión totalmente ecológica.
Intentamos evitar el plástico y preferimos comprar productos locales directamente del productor o en el mercado. Nos complace compartir nuestros recursos con nuestros huéspedes. Los muebles y objetos cotidianos de la casa son en su mayoría de madera o metal; muchos son de segunda mano.
Mantenemos una excelente relación con nuestros vecinos (en su mayoría canarios) del pueblo, y el contacto activo con la comunidad local es fundamental para nosotros.
Los residentes actuales de la otra mitad de la casa (no para huéspedes) son Krisztina (Hungría) y Michael (Italia) con sus hijos Allison y Vincent. La familia cuida con cariño y atención la casa, el jardín y, por supuesto, a los huéspedes. Como propietaria, estoy en contacto constante con Krisztina y Michael y sigo garantizando el cumplimiento de las normas ecológicas.

Payment and Cancellation Terms

Para cancelaciones con 14 días o más de antelación, el arrendador deberá abonar el 30% restante. Beautyful place to stay and very friendly and super helpful and uncomplicated hosts. Communication worked really good. We had a great time and want to recommend this place so much to people who want a stay in Tenerife abroads from the big turist centers. Thanks so much to all the people who care for this place and the guests!

Wir waren fünf Tage mit unseren drei Kindern (10,8 und 3 Jahre) über Ostern zu Gast in der Casa La Tanquilla und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Trampolin im Garten, die überdachte Terrasse und die kleinen Wanderungen direkt von der Unterkunft aus, haben die Zeit dort sehr kurzweilig werden lassen. In der Bar Aripe lohnt es sich auch eine Runde Dart zu spielen.
Sebastien und Eugenia, die direkt nebenan wohnen und unsere Ansprechpersonen vor Ort waren, gaben uns das Gefühl wie bei Freunden zu wohnen. Die Ruhe vor Ort tat ihr übriges, um völlig zu entspannen.
Wir können La Tanquilla wärmstens an Menschen weiterempfehlen, die Wert auf Ambiente, Natur, Ruhe und Nachhaltigkeit legen.

Très bien pour nous. Nous avons pu dîner tous les soirs en table d'hôtes une cuisine végétarienne excellente et qui m'a permis de pallier à mes intolérances alimentaires.
C'est le SEUL Ecobnb que j'ai trouvé dans mes recherches sur Ténérife.
La terrasse sur les toits était géniale et l'environnement d'un calme et d'une sérénité incroyable à seulement 20 mn des plages.
Sébastien, notre hôte était adorable et efficace pour satisfaire nos petites demandes.

We had a lovely relaxing time in Casa Rural La tanquilla. The hosts Eugenia and Sebastian were very friendly and we have been very well looked after by them. They even prepared a nice vegetarian supper at our arrival, since we arrived a bit late in the evening. The house is big and cosy, the area is very peaceful and relaxing, there are several tracks behind the house to go hiking in the nature. That's exactly what we needed to disconnect . We highly recommend this place if you want to evade from the daily routine. Thanks for everything Eugenia and Sebastian. See you next time!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche bei Barbara und Chetan! Das Haus ist im Grünen gelegen und sehr ruhig. Die alten Gemäuer des schön renovierten Hauses haben uns sehr gefallen. Umgeben von einem verwunschenen Garten und einem tollen Ausblick aufs Meer können wir die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Chetan und Barbara sind zwei herzliche Gastgeber:innen und waren immer für uns da, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Ein besonderes Highlight war eine Behandlung bei Barbara in ihrem kleinen aber feinen Therapieraum. Eine ganz besondere Erfahrung!
Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

The accomondation from Barbara is placed in a small village in the mountains. The atmosphere is amazing and you can start hiking right at the house. The owners offer fresh herhs for cooking and teas.
There is plenty of room and a nice roof deck where you can relax or make yoga etc.
There is a very warm, helpful and welcomig atmosphere. It was a great stay for a time out and we had respectful discussions about very different topics.

So much more than just an accommodation... Very friendly hosts from Germany welcomed & informed us well. To get there, a car and good driving is absolutely recommended.
La Tanqilla is a small house connected to the host's house but without interference. Everything is tiny in size, but well equipped and thought through. We had the impression to stay in a real Canarian house off the beaten track but still close enough to shops, beaches and sights on Teneriffa.
The kitchen, for example, was the best-equipped one in matters of cooking utensils and quality. Some expect it as standard, but having travelled a lot and stayed in many apartments on the canary islands, we know it is not standard. The filtered water makes a huge difference. We were allowed to enjoy the garden and our kids the trampoline. The hosts' son befriended quickly with our older daughter. I can imagine that she will remember their adventures through the fruit garden and the adjacent mountain trails forever!
